The Revenue Engine Check

Something in the way your company finds, wins and keeps customers is holding the order book back, and it is hard to say which part. The check puts it in one picture: forty-two questions across seven areas, a scored report on the spot, shown in full, free.

The seven areas

Six questions in each. Every question describes situations you will recognise from your own company, and you pick the one closest to yours.

  1. Strategy & buy-in
  2. Systems & data
  3. Automation & AI
  4. Team & skills
  5. Measurement & insight
  6. Demand generation
  7. Sales execution & alignment

What the report contains

A score and a level for each area and for the whole, the area that is holding the others back, the first moves that follow from it, and a ninety-day plan. Two companies with the same answers get the same report.

How it is produced

Scores, levels and the bottleneck are computed from your answers. The descriptions, diagnoses and recommendations are selected from a written library that is versioned and reviewed. The executive summary and the connecting text are written by a language model, and every statement it makes is checked against your answers before it is shown. The report says only what your answers support; it does not assume anything about your website, your products or your market.

What happens to your answers

Your answers are stored without your name or email address and go into the benchmark. Leaving an email address at the end is optional. The check's privacy page has the detail.

Take the check, then read the report with the person who owns the commercial number in your company. If you are that person, Afternoon Hours is an hour to walk through it together.
